The FRPUG Site Gets a Makeover

Tonight we launched the newest incarnation of the FRPUG website, which is powered by Joomla!

Probably the biggest change, aside from the look and feel, is the addition of the forums.  It is our hope that an online discussion area will not only help bridge the gap between meetings but, in time, serve as a PHP community resource.  Anyone interested in PHP is welcome to register an account and post comments and questions.

Our presentations section is now better organized and supports voting so you can provide immediate feedback on the videos and slides.

Search functionality is also now in place...simply use the "search..." textbox in the upper-right corner.

We also have RSS feeds working on many of the pages (with more to come) so you can easily discover when new content is added to the site.

The aforementioned look and feel is a work in progress so if you're not crazy about the current appearance, don't worry. We'll be spending the next few weeks tweaking the layout and making the site not only easier to navigate but easier on the eyes.

If you encounter problems with the new site, please let me know so I can address them as soon as possible.  If you have suggestions, please take a moment to post them in our new forums.

Thank you for your patience!
