Hello FRPUGers,
Our next meeting is coming up soon. We'll be meeting at the historic Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver at the offices of Remy Corp who will graciously be sponsoring our meeting location and providing food and beverage. Presentation topics will include Riak, a scalable web database that claims to simplify application development and using jQuery and GD to build some graphics manipulation tools.
Please RSVP by Tuesday since, as I said earlier, there will be food and drink. Send

I've got some great news! Frontrange PHP User group has found sponsorship in Denver and we'll be moving to twice monthly meetings — one meeting per month in Colorado Springs, and one per month in Denver. Right now I'm looking at the 2nd Wednesday in Denver and the 4th Wednesday in Colorado Springs.
So this means our next meeting will be in Denver on January 13, 2010 at 7PM - 9PM. We'll be meeting at TEK Systems in Denver at 6300 S Syracuse Way Suite 200 Centennial, CO 80111.
TEK Systems has also generously offered to provide pizza and soft drinks. In order to make sure we have enough since this is a new meeting location, please email me at

to let me know if you're planning on coming. We've got some pretty sweet door prizes to give out as well.
The presentations for this meeting will include Debugging PHP and Unit Testing and Test Driven Development in PHP, so it should be an excellent meeting.
Thanks,
David |

Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating so we've made the decision to cancel the December meeting.
We are looking at moving to twice monthly meetings as soon as January, though, so keep checking back as the site will be updated as more information is found.
We're very sorry to have to cancel but with some of our members driving 130 miles round trip, it's probably in the best interest of everyone to keep our members safe and warm at home.
Thanks,
David |

Tonight's scheduled meeting at the Ruth Holley Library has been canceled due to inclement weather in the region. The FRPUG Board of Directors will be deciding in the coming days whether to schedule a make-up meeting date or to push this month's activities on to November. Thanks for your patience, and stay tuned! |
