Topic: Request for Presentation

Message: Mike,

I haven't forgotten about your post. I've been trying to get a screencast together for you, but I've been having trouble getting something to work that I'd actually want to post. If you're attending tomorrow and I haven't posted the screencast by then, I can show you at the meeting.

Thanks,
Davdi

Topic: September 23rd: Kevin King, Elections and FRPUG 1st Anniversary

Message: Our September 23rd meeting will be held at the Rockrimmon Library in Colorado Springs and will feature a presentation entitled "Roll Your Own Infrastructure: Using Simple PHP to Build Bulletproof HTML" by Kevin King of Precision Solutions in Longmont.

Additionally, we will be having our yearly elections for the officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) on the FRPUG Board of Directors. Any full member is eligible to run for these positions; please check out our Bylaws (found in the "About" section of the site) for responsibilities and what constitutes membership.

This will also be the first anniversary of the Front Range PHP User Group's founding and is probably a good time for us -- and the new Board of Directors -- to start thinking about the direction we want the group to head in for our second year.
